Totally Tutorial Thursday - Boys Accessories

Having two boys, I have come to appreciate a cute boy accessory when I find one, because, let's be honest, they are somewhat few and far between among all the countless cute girl accessories. A forshadowing of things to come I suppose (just take a look at mine and my husbands closet!).

I found a couple of AMAZING boy tutorials and I am itching to try a number of them!

Jill, from Homemade by Jill, hit another one out of the ball part with this tutorial for an irresistible pair of boys suspenders.
I love this Bow Tie Tutorial from 7 Layer Studio. It looks so simple and so cute. My boys would look so adorable in one. Here is another GREAT velcro tie tutorial!
The ultimate boy accessory, the neck tie! And The Purl Bee makes it look SOOOOO easy!
From A Little Bit Funky here is a great tutorial for a fun boys belt. I am so excited to try it!
Here a different style belt from Elise Marley. So cool!!!
I love this Eddie Cap Tutorial from Mushroom Villagers. Cute to cuter!
And this cute sweater vest from Made would add to any outfit!

Another AWESOME tie tutorial. Can't get enough of them!

  2. I love your blog you have some brilliant ideas! I agree with you that it is hard to find fun stuff to make for boys. I have found some fun things recently like a car caddy, Super hero headbands, and messanger bags. Some time I want to start my own craft blog but right now I am super busy. I am a mother of 5 kids ranging from age 10 to 4 months. 3 boys and 2 girls. Sewing and crafting helps keep me sane.
