The best gifts I have ever received are ones that have allowed me to create. While it's SO much fun to open a gift, it's even more fun opening that gift, brainstorming about it, creating something and then enjoying it.
Case in point. When I was a freshman in HS my oldest brother got me a beat up diner chair. Boy, did I have fun with that! I probably used a whole thing of Mod podge on in (it actually looks really cool! I still have it, well, my mom does). One of my most memorable gifts EVER.
So, while I could do a giveaway of something I've already made, I decided to do one (as well as 3 more this month!) that allows YOU to do the creating.
This week the winner will received a Quick Quotes Scrapbooking Kit. It is a BOY Coffee Table Canvas Kit that allows you to make a free standing canvas book. These are so much fun, and the kit comes with coordinating paper, vellum quotes, brads, ribbon and other embellishment. All you need is your imagination!
So. Here's the deal.
1.) Comment: What is your most memorable 'crafting' experience?
2.) Additional entries for becoming a follower or for posting about the giveaway on your blog, facebook, twitter, adding my button (please leave a link to it).... Make sure to leave a separate comment for each entry!
Be sure to check back later this month for other craftastic giveaways!
Contest runs now until Monday, May 10th at Midnight. Good luck!
***This giveaway is not sponsored by Quick Quotes, I just like their products. Feel free to check out their website though!

ReplyDeleteMy most memorable crafting experience is painting with my grandma. We each had our own easels (mine a cute little kid size one) and we would spread an old sheet out over the living room floor and paint away.

The best crafting memories I have are the times it has taken my friends and I hours to sort through all of our stuff and we have it spread all over her huge banquet-sized table while our kids play on a smaller table with their own supplies.
