A Confession

I am no green thumb. As much as I'd like to try, I just am not. I am no good at remembering to water them and all that other plant maintenance. Heck, I'm barely able to keep my kids alive. If they weren't so loud I might just forget to feed them! Also our back yard is VERY shady and not so great for growing plants sometimes.

But I've finally had some success in the plant department, thanks to my son and husband who help stay on top of the watering. This year we bought about 10 ever baring strawberry plants and planted the in the front yard which gets plenty of sun and they are doing great!
There's nothing like fresh strawberries.

  1. Fresh ripe homegrown strawberries have got to be the BEST. I could eat strawberries all day long! Enjoy every one :)

  2. Congrats on the strawberries. Our garden was a complete failure this year, LOL.

  3. Great job with the strawberries! If you want to multiply your success next year, you can visit Strawberry Plants.org for tons of strawberry information. That site tells how to best grow, propagate, and transplant strawberry plants (as well as lots of other info). Hope that helps, and congrats on the success this year!
