Licence Plate Wall Hanging

I love my name. It's different, but not weird and hard to make fun of, which was a great bonus growing up! Because it's not very common it is not often I find any thing with my name on it as I stroll the personalized pins, mugs, key chains and license plates in souvenir shops. It almost makes me wish my name was Brittany, Jessica or Rebecca. Almost. So usually with a twinge of sadness I leave the store empty handed.

But Kendra is getting to be more common now than it was when I was growing up because within a couple years my husband was able to find three personalized license plates with my name on it. And since I made the rule if either one of us found anything with my name on it to get it, because it's just that rare of an occasion, he got them.

But then I had these three 'Kendra' license plates stashed away, collecting dust. In an effort to de-junk and organize I found them and decided to to something with them; make a wall hanging.
As you can see it was VERY simple. VERY. Just take four 2 1/2" pieces of ribbon of your choice to attach the license plates. Then use a 12" piece to hang it with. I added two fun beads my mom had given me. Glue a strip of ribbon at the bottom and your done! Now we'll just have to see what I do when I add another one to my collection (that is if I can find another one with my name on it!)
