Just for Fun Friday Giveaway! CLOSED

A couple days ago I was wearing some of my favorite pair of earrings from my store. They are tiny Crysanthemums and are PERFECT for any occasion and I love to wear them (or any fun piece of jewelry for that matter) when I don't have all the time I would like to get 'dolled up' for the day. Ahhhhh the life of a mother!

Winner of this 30 hour, Just For Fun Friday giveaway will receive THREE of these earrings; fuchsia, orange blossom and dusty rose. Contest ends Friday night at 11:59pm.

  1. Ah!
I do have an easy tip for cleaning- don't wash throw rugs every single time, if they aren't truly dirty. Just toss them in the dryer on fluff, or low for 5 minutes and the dirt and dust come off and the rugs are fluffy again. (They last longer, too).
    How's that?
    Oooooh!
I need to get my new etsy stuff up- I don't make things, I sell vintage and antique housewares.
I am always envious of those creators like you that can make jewelry!
These chyrsanthemum earrings are just lovely!
Thank you for coming by my home and leaving me some sweet thoughts about my master bedroom!
Blessings to you as you create and make a home!

  2. I use an awesome product called a Kitchen Stone by Earth Stone for my glass stove top. Gets those brown/burnt spots off so easy.

    p.s. i love these earrings!

  3. Hmm cleaning.. One thing I've started doing is putting the plug in the kitchen sink to wash dishes, but using whatever large bowl or pot is dirty as my dishwater receptacle. Then by the time I've washed everything and rinsed it, the sink has a fair bit of soapy water in, and the stuck on stuff has soaked off the pot. Then I use the dish rag and soapy water to wipe down the stove, counters, and scrub up the sink real quick. As long as the dishes weren't super greasy of course! I like being able to stand back and have clean dishes in the drainer, and a nice clean kitchen to boot.

  4. I was looking through your shop recently, and these darling little earrings were my favorites. So sweet.

So, organization? I have a teeny tiny craft/sewing spot crammed between my side of the bed and the wall. I mostly am organized with small stackable drawers under my desk and long thin containers under my bed. it works for me!

  5. Well...I'm always cleaning, it seems!! Too many messy kids around here!! I went to Ikea a couple of months ago and bought the greatest wooden shelf thing that holds over 10 plastic bins. I have all the kids' art supplies now separated and all out so they aren't always asking me to find them from out in the garage for them! It was the greatest thing ever for us!

  6. I don't have any great organization advice. I just keep baskets everywhere to collect the small things and then try to clean them out evey few months. I keep them under sinks and in closets for medicines, lotions, bandaids, that sort of thing.

    These earings are adorable!

  8. those are adorable and i need them. here's my cleaning/organizing tip: watch hoarders on tv and clean on the commercials. you will be so motivated by watching other people's chaos. also, the cleaning in small bursts makes it less overwhelming. :)
